I posted a for sale item which up to recently would have gone on the main front page, do they now go directly to the for sale tag? I tried to put it on the main page as a anyone want a fish tank and it was removed, if this is now what happens can someone please advise me.

All for sale posts go on the for sale page, pointers on the main page are not allowed as it defeats the object

Thanks, now when you post anything with the word "sale" in the title it goes straight to the for sales tag, dont know where your other post went though.

Ok is this a recent rule because I have seen other for sale posts on the front page, why can restaurants and bars sell their wares, with food of the day or drink of the day, they are still selling something.

I want free access to the front page , all businesses get it, so why not the individual poster, and thanks message 14 and 15 for your comments, it still feels like one rule for one and one rule for another, sorry but that's what I think.

I brought up the resturaunt advertising awhile ago and was overuled by the buddy brigade

.Even now that prodger has sat up a dedicated page we still get undated with menus etc etc.

I think the main page should be for discussions only and not a menu board.

Thers enough space on the front page of this forum for restaurants and bars to advertise their menu or drink

of the day. To be fair it's not as though we are inundated with them now. At most there can't be more than 6 or 8 restaurant/bar threads running at any one time.
