Mac Mini Owners and Interest?

The time has come for me to pick the O/S that I know best and will stick with. At the moment I am on Win XP Pro on 2 PC's and Mac OS on my Mac Mini. I am finding it harder and harder (old age) to swop my mind between the two and have made up my mind to stick with Windows and normal PC's. Sorry Hans but my Mini system (no screen), wireless keyboard/mouse and software and has to go.



Just out of interest before I put the whole thing up for sale - is anyone else out there (in TRNC) running a Mini and how happy are they with them? I have never had a problem with mine and it is perfect for this climate by the way.

As nobody either has one or has any interest in one I am keeping this and turning it into a music center with online radio Internet access. Its ability to utilize bluetooth and airport make it just the thing to hook into my wireless network and give me radio all over the house. Have had it for four years now and it is as good as new but never really understood what I could do with it till I thought of giving it up. Thanks to all.

I am coming out of hiding just for you, I said I wouldn't post anymore but you seem to be getting frustrated by the lack of answers.

I know how that feels, people only seem to argue and bitch at the moment so I have given up but just for you, I came very close to buying a mini last month but they only had the basic model and I wanted the server one so I didn't bother. I think it would be a brilliant addition to my home set up, di quite a bit of research with friends who are also avid mac users although they are not in NC and all were delighted by what you can do with a mini even though it has some limitations without add ons.

I believe the other and even bigger user of mac is DC but he is also out of contact at the moment. My advice, keep the mini and use it however you wish, you might even link it back into your new set up, if your monitor has 2 ports.

If you do decide to sell, let me know the details and price by mail. I might take you up on it. Back to Coventry for me.
