If you haven't heard this singer yet, make a point of doing so.



So talented and very well crafted songs with great soaring melodies and catchy chorus' and middle eights... good for dancing too.



We caught her act on 'Later With Jools Holland' and were knocked out.



Her album 'Do you want the truth or something beautiful' is simply outstanding and there is not a track we don't love..

I've got a couple of her tracks on my iPod. I think she's really good and one to watch for the future.



I never had you down as a lover of this type of music Gavin - I thought you'd be more into classical. )

Yes she is good. A bit mad too! She also does a bit of acting, she was in The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.

Bill you know I'm quite catholic as far as music goes, in that like nearly all genres of music and I love Jazz, Classical, Opera, Orchestral, Rock, Funk, Reggae some Pop, even some country as long as it's not too YeeHaa!



Having said that I'm quite into Zydeco and Blue Grass...



I'm not into hardcore Punk but I like the Pretenders and some of The Jam, I'm not into Rap but there is the odd track I like.



I appreciate those who write music even if they don't have the best voice... Van Morrison, Mark Knopfler.



The main thing with me is if I think the performer is good at what they do...
