Thanks J, no speculation just the facts, that suits me. He was probably the best Chancellor for the past 50

years or so, but not necessarily PM material. Oh, also, he was not responsible for the credit crunch, that

was a global effort which started well before labour took office.

Anyone remember that old song:

"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right, here I am stuck in the ...................etc. etc."

Well, just about sums the whole thing up to me.

My son has just been offered sponsonship by a Company in Australia - guess where we're going, given half a chance?

Thank God that useless bunch of morons are out. Once again the good guys have to pick up the pieces and try to repair the damage.

In all fairness to the man I think he was conned into the job by Tony Blair and has been the fall guy for him.

No I don't think he was a good PM but he did the best that he could under a world recession.

Actually where has Coachie gone as this is his favourite type of posting on 44?

Blame Blair not Brown, this guy has done what no other politician would have done. Ne has put the country, labour party and more so his family first before his career and his pocket. The whole world is in a mess not just the UK and in fairness we are not as bad as many of the euro countries
