Does anyone know of a place to hire bicycles in the Kyrenia area ?

Hi there

If you look in the North Cyprus Yellow Pages you will find three companies that hire bikes. Only one is in Kyrenia and is called Holication. They only have a few as it is a sideline of theirs so you need to book early. I have just returned from a holiday and could not find any bikes available to hire in the town. There is a company outside Kyrenia that hires mountain bikes but at £8 a day for the two bikes we needed we could hire a car! There used to be a place by the harbour but no longer. Generally people looked at me as if I was mad when I made enquiries as it is considered far to hot to cycle there. I had one suggestion that it was as cheap to buy a bike as hire one if there for a couple of weeks and give the bike to a child at end of holiday!
