Hi, I am from Romania (UE), I am a tourist in south cyprus; please tell me do I need passport or ID card to passing to north cyprus? beacouse I dont have a passport, just the ID card. thanks.

Buna zua miranda22 - I am sure you need your Romanian passport to enter The Turkish Republic of North Cyprus.



Your ID card - was it issued in Romania.



I think you can only enter TRNC with a Republic of Cyprus issued ID card.



You should check with the Romanian High Commission (Embassy) in Nicosia - the telephone number was: 22 517333, but it may have changed. If it has changed, telephone to TAROM: 22 43693 - maybe they can give you the new number of Romanian High Commission (Embassy).

It's the Romanian Embassy. Only members of the Commonwealth have high commisions in each others countries in place of embassies.
