Where is this restaurant please? The vegetarian kebab sounds great - don't just do it weekly, keep it on the menu and I will come and try it out on next visit in July. Decent vegetarian food is thin on the ground, Brinsley, do you really object to a couple of vege options on a menu full of meat and fish?

We have eaten here a few times now and I recommend the house speciality of Baked Sea Bass, Best I have ever tasted.... Know not veggie but yummy

Josef gets all his vegs fresh from local suppliers and you can taste the difference.

It's past Bacheli - on the main road towards Tatlisu, right hand side.

Please make the vegetarian menu available daily, Yusef. Especially in the heat of the summer, even meat-eaters like something a little less heavy but with the same traditional cooking. Sounds so good.

Thanks all for the comments,

Şinya Restaurant is in Kucukerenkoy village, about 35km east of Girne/Kyrenia. you'll see the "ŞİNYA Guest House" sign on the main road - right hand side.

- millerman we can provide vegetarian kebab everyday, just mention it while booking.

- louise10 the name of the baked sea bass on the menu is " Tuzda Levrek" and it's our special fish menu. it takes a long time to prepare it so we take reservation at least one day before for that menu.

it's right we use fresh vegetables and usually from our own garden and if we haven't then we buy them from local suppliers. i.e. we don't ever use frozen chips.
