That got your attention! Need help!! My CD drawer has stuck on the stacking system, the button seems to have pushed too far or something. You can hear the drawer trying to open, a whirring sound! Cant use the radio, well can, but the noise of the cd drawer is still there! Ive tried using a thin nail file to poke at the button but frightened of either pushing it further or breaking ir. Any ideas?

Come on someone - somebody must have had this happen and solved the problem! Would WD40 ruin it?

You would be far better off with a can of high pressure air spray as most problems out here with CD systems are down to the ingress of dust. AJ

AJ - would the vacuum cleaner on fullest power, using the hose on the button and the tray be of any use do you think? (It was a man that did it, maybe a man can find the answer)!!

mamachina I think you would need a 'high power blow' rather than a 'high power suck' if you would pardon the expression. AJ

Does it not have a little pin hole on the front that you can pop a pin in & open it in the event of it ever getting stuck. just a thought it may have.

mamachina it may not be anything to do with the button most cd drawers are operated by a simple drive band to pull the drawer in and out ! the cable may have broken or slipped off the pulleys I think it unlikely its just stuck ! sorry cant be of more help regards
