Great location, offering the most beautiful plates to serve food on.



Food and service was only ever average.



Sandwiched between two of the best restaurants on the Island I rather suspect they ran out of customers

It is all a matter of personal taste. I have always enjoyed the food at Missina. Yes, the service has occasionally been a bit iffy but never a real problem. When you refer to "two of the best restaurants ...", if one of them is Ambiance then, in my personal experience, the food is mediocre at best and again, sometimes iffy service. Location on the other hand, fantastic. If you were not referring to Ambiance, then please feel free to ignore me

Yes I was thinking of The Ambiance, fortunately however our experience of dining there has never been anything other than delightful.



I accept that at times especially on Saturdays the service can be a little slow but even then the food has always been to a very acceptable standard.



We tend to eat there on weekdays when the service level is excellent why not give it a try.

I think Msg 4 is correct. The old sign at the top of the road has changed to a steak house sign.

It was DeFigaro (however its spelt) that has turned into the Brazilian Steak House Quenta.



Missina is just sitting closed and I wondered whether it was going to reopen or whether it has closed for good?

Missina...not good....went there a couple of years ago and soon realisd why we were all by ourselves and the Address was mobbed! ( Had been to addreaa a few nights earlier)



Poor service and average overpriced food just don't work do they!
