Oh dear Simbas that is awful for you.

IMHO it is the way that some TC's treat foreigners, their time is more important than ours. I'm sure that you are hopping mad, I'd be.

When we had our break-in at the house, we had to get a Police Crime Report for insurance. We were told 'come at 2pm it will be ready' arriving there and hanging around for an hour we were told 'come at 5pm it will be ready' Back again at 5, stand around again until 6-30pm when told 'Boss has gone home, come back tomorrow'.

Started the process again next day, went when they told us to at 10am, still no joy. we were then told 'come back in 2 days' After explaining that we were going home then, we eventually got it the following day after yet another wasted journey.

Really hope you can get sorted soon and can go home SMILING !!!

To be honest , i don't feel a bit like laughing , I think i am a bit in shock , i went in at 7pm came out at 8-30 with damaged gum that i have to go back to have treatment for , it started when he tried to get the temp cap out for the bridge it just wouldn't come out and also he said he will have to remove the bridge to treat the gum , oh god that has really put the fear of god into me . i have never known pain like it

Hilltops , yes , thats the one .

Pat

I really sympathise. I have been pretty lucky up until now with my teeth, but I know from past experience that there is nothing quite as bad as toothache - of any type.

I do hope you get this sorted (or should I thay thorted) very soon.

Jean

PS I feel a couple of drinks (purely medicinal, of course) may help

No The Dentist you damned fool. She needs to keep away from Yorkshiremen. She doesnt want to loose her gold teeth as well!

The girl is in real pain! Much like a Yorkshireman paying for a drink!

Didn't think i would make it through the night { without painkillers i mean } but i did . I am pleased to report i awoke from slumber painfree , now all i have to worry about is worrying how i am going to haul myself back into his surgery voluntarily on Tues , to once again use his tool of torture on me . " The Tooth and The Bridge " well , they look great , " pity no-one will see them they are at the back .

You boys , well you are just bad ,

Have a great day all , Simbas

Sympathies Pat. I haven't had to use him, but my wife has suffered. He automatically goes the cosmetic route when mercy dictates taking the tooth out. They swear by (at?) him in Mehmetcik.

His equipment is stone age and we will go elsewhere in future.

Hi Hilltop , It wasn't just me being a baby then . I didn't want to say but i had a total of 6 injs last night and cried like a baby , what ever he used on me has taken a chunk out of my gum . My husband isn't speaking to me as he begged me to wait until i got home to have it seen to . On reflection i should have had a temp cap fitted but ..................... And he charged me 1600TL for the show i put on for him , i should have charged him . i asked him for a written report on what kind of injury he had inflicted on me so i could inform my dentist . it was two lines in Turkish . My husband wants to come with me on Tues , but i don't think thats a good idea

Hope your wife is sorted out now , bless her i can totally empathise with her

Enjoy your day , Pat
