If you go right down to the sea front in Kyrenia, the Dome is the big hotel on the west and the harbour is over to the east, finishing at a huge castle! You can't miss it!!!

Probably the most well known tourist site in TRNC.

I must admit, I thought the question was a wind-up when I first read it, but decided not to be so cynical and tried to be helpful....... but if you have never been, Simbas, treat yourself to a walk along the harbour and a visit to the castle.

To be fair - most casual visitors and tourists only know of one harbour in the town, known generally as 'the harbour'. I rarely see or hear of it being referred to as the 'Old Harbour' except in sepia photos on websites.

Maybe the organisers of the boat trip were trying to be helpful in calling it this in order to differentiate between it and the 'New Harbour', and in so doing had caused some confusion?

Can I point out that some of us (Simbas included I believe) are based near Famagusta not Girne so I think i have been to the harbour once in Girne!

Thank you to all that answered , cynics and all . I now Know the Harbour in question i have been there a couple of times . It was that it was called the "Old "Harbour so wasn't sure if there was a new one as well. Like in Magosa there is the New City and the Old
