old time sequence / ballroom dancing

Will be visiting our place at Esentepe 28th May till 6th June and will be bringing gentleman George [ my old man ] It will be his first trip to TRNC and as he is a bit of a dancing man he is dead worried that he will miss his weekly dancing and indoor bowls - is there any old time sequence or ballroom / bowls going on anywhere in Trnc where we can take him for a trolley around with a dancing Doris or two , He isnt a bad old boy scrubs up well for a Yorkie - polite and good company and he looks the part in his dandy three piece. I promise he wont wear a flat cap .

Graham & Francine do dance classes at the Chateau Lambousa on Sunday nights.

- Beginners at 7pm (currently ballroom Jive)

- Improvers at 8pm (currently Tango)

and revision and general dancing after that.

They also arrange tea dances on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of each month (at the Chateau) at 2pm.

The lessons are coming to an end for the summer due to the hot weather and will be starting again around September/October.

Thanks for the replies , seems there is hope for the old boy after all.

I will tell him he to start bulling his shoes in anticipation and will contact the persons named on arrival thanks again.

To David and Val, the Sunday Dance club holds is last dance this Sunday, before it breaks for the Summer.
