Hi everyone, could somebody please give me a rough idea of costs for a taxi from Ercan to Kyrenia. Just deciding whether to book a package deal to include tranfers or book flights and accom seperately on line. Thanks.

However, if you just land and get in a taxi, it will be on the meter, not sure how much that is, never been stung for it, but bound to be more, you need to have a car pre-booked.

THANKS AGAIN, HAVE DECIDED TO GO WITH A PACKAGE THIS TIME DUE TO HIGH FLIGHT COSTS IN OCTOBER, AND LIMITED AVAILABILITY. VERY CO-OPERATIVE !! TRAVEL AGENT PRICE MATCHED FOR ME TO INCLUDE TRANSFERS.

Much cheaper to fly into Larnaca, Taxi from Larnaca about £40 each way.
No problems at the border

this may be so hill top but do you really want to travel at 90 mph in a car withr the steerinf wheel on the wrong side ?
Not that all taxs drive like this but a lot do .
I travelled from girne to lapta last night at speeds of up to 90 mph weaving in and out of traffic at 01.30 if said my bum was twitching That would be an understatement cost for 12 mile journey 65 ytl !! asked for kdv recipt

And you a local, Don't you know any one decent you could have used?
I could help you set up a scheme to regulate legal taxis, fit tachometers etc. What do you reckon? Must be better than using some bloke with a motor earning beer money.
