Has anyone purchased an electrical fly/mossie zapper for internal use?

Would be interested in anyones view on whether they work or are they a waste of money? Makes & model to buy.

The sort with an ultraviolet light to attract 'em, and a high voltage mesh to zap 'em?

They're great - all work the same, UV lamp usually lasts 4 or 5 summers regardless of which brand you buy - try the UCUZCU shop, directions here: - http://www.cyprus44.com/forums/21352.asp

or Dubai Bazaar - which is in Karakum / Catalkoy, on the left hand side of the main coast road heading East out of Girne.

You'll do well if you come out of either place with just the one item that you went in for; they're both like Aladdin's caves!

Keith.............Thank you!

Will probably purchase one from the UK and bring it with me. Just returned from Cyprus on Mon and the little blighters were about during our 2 week stay. I did joke that I want one that you can hear zap them, I don't care if it keeps me awake all night!!

We bought two of these from Maplins and took them out to Cyprus. They have proved to be very effective

Keith, do you know how much these zappers usually cost? Think I could do with one or two too.

Hi KickingK,

We've been using "The Executioner" for a while now,

does the job, no blood and guts on our walls )))...

Also got plug in sonic gadgets, they work too.

Top Ten,

It gives directions to the place!

Maplins do a cheapish one £14.99 : -

The one I bought was Black, but otherwise similar to the above, it cost me 6.99 Euros from the Aladdin's Cave shop in the South, the one past the Coca-Cola factory, more or less opposite the Mitsubishi dealer
