I was thinking of going to the Shanghai Chinese Ressturant wth some friends was anyone any info on this place.

Probably the best Chinese around, food great and good value, they are working on an outside area not sure if this is finished yet

We had a take away from there the other day, it was okay but nothing special and we were disappointed and it was not cheap either. The outside is finished and yes, its where you think it is.

Oh the one thing I really miss from UK is a good chinese, duck-pancake rolls- spare ribs, oh just thinking about it makes me drool

Yes, its on the right as you turn into the entrance to Jasmine Court Hotel. We've had two take-aways from there and found them excellent.

have had a meal there twice and was ok, m y problem is that i am spoilt and just love the dragon, in my opinion nothing else comes up to that standard. I would go back as sometimes i order the wrong thing and expect it to be right. The surroundings are lovely and the staff very attentive, however im lead to beleive that the new chinese just by jasmine turning and not sure if its only a take away is excellent.
