Hi Can anyone advise

I have a baby sparrow not ready to have left the nest which I left out to see if parents would feed but they didnt.

In the past hour and between the two of us (the sparrow and myself ) I am managing to feed it but not sure how much and how often I should do this.

Everytime I go near the sparrow he lets me know he wants food but I dont want to over feed. Does anyone have any idea of the interval I should leave between meals. Which at the moment is chicken, liver cat food which goes down very easily and if I gave it as much as it seems to want I would have a turkey on my hands

In the wild, mum sparrows feed them approx. 8-10 times an hour, less at night!

Looks like I will get through a good amount of cat food then. Watch this space for news of the Turkey.

When I picked it up from the floor it looked like there were just mins left, you should hear it now, It doesnt stop calling for match stick mum
