Our friends at Tike Mediterranean Bar and Grill have asked us to pass on this invitation:

"Kick off the World Cup, the world's biggest football party at Tike, the newest and most exciting restaurant in North Cyprus. We welcome all England supporters and fellow football fans to come and celebrate the World Cup on our terrace.

"Come and experience the taste of Istanbul with complimentary Tike food, beer and wine."

JUNE 11, 2010 - BETWEEN 5 PM – 8 PM.

Tike is on the new by-pass, directly opposite Ezic Premier.

Thank you. Living magazine.

No- it's just food and drink and finishing in time for those who do want to go and wtach the first game. It is not a sportsbar kind of place, actually a quality restaurant.

Re Msg 8 - I was fully intending to keep them, I wouldn't balance very well if I lopped the buggers off!

Dreadful name almost as bad as snakes ! I asked what it meant in Turkish he said TEE KAY it means nothing in Turkish ! I said in UK it is pronounced as TYKE a naughty little brat of a kid (of which i was one ) and exactly what i thought when presented with a bill with butter and canopes I thought were complimentary !! OOOOH TIKE i said !!! nice gesture of world cup (opening ceremony!!!what about the matches ???) though along with other bars who offer this all year round !!! regards Barry !! !! sits back and awaits the onslaught !!!!!!!!
