Turkish Minister of State and Chief Negotiator for talks with the EU Egemen Bagis has stressed once again that the Cyprus Issue is a national cause for Turkey. Speaking at the 64th meeting of the Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Committee in Istanbul, he said Turkey will not meet the spoiled expectation of every member country for the sake of opening a new chapter in Turkey-EU membership negotiations.
