Ditto message 2 - definitely. TV's are so cheap in UK just now, e.g. Asda advertising a 32" flat screen at £270.00.

We got a great 32" LCD from Arcelik in Girne last summer for 1000TL. True, it cost more than UK. and even Oman where I work. However didn't fancy giving up my luggage space/weight and risking damage or customs at Larnaca!

3 year warranty included and...it's white..not boring old black!

Or you could look in the papers and buy from the Brits returning home and selling very cheap.

My friend sold my 46 inch sony bravia top of the range bought at £1800 for £200 lol and it was a flat screen HD ready

We bought our 32" flat screen HD ready LG TV from Laconic computers in Girne . Cost £500. Good to know we have a guarantee which we wouldn't have if we had brought it from England.
