Just hide in your car and bring it, no one will check it, Otherwise they have to stay 15 days in quarrantie. which is not nice for the cat. and you have to go and feed them there

If you love your cat, which I'm sure you do, then don't risk trying to smuggle it in. If you get caught your cat is liable to be taken from you. Why Firat says no one will check is crazy. You never know when you will be stopped and have your car checked when coming from the South.

You need to get in touch with the head man at the offices at the quarantine to find out the latest rules. Some say animals may not go over the green line either way, and someone else will say it's ok, but the animal has to go to quarantine, get your information first hand, not speculation.

I also wish people would stop "scaremongering" about the quarantine facilities. Yes it's not like England, but it's ok for a short time. My 5 cats survived without any problems. It's the owners that get in a state, not the animals. Why shouldn't you go their to feed and look after them. If you love them, then you should be happy to do so.

If you get caught, say to them that you are not leaving your cat to them and try the famagusta border. if not come back again when the border is extremely busy, Saturday afternoon.

Sorry guys but, I wouldnt leave my cat in quarantine
