New hours at the British High Commission

I got this info from the BRS... It's a memo they got from the British High Commission.



"With effect from 1 June we will open from 1030 to 1230” on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for passport applications.



We will be advertising this change on our website and in our office in the next few days but I thought you would welcome advance notice of this change."

I expect like most UK civil servants they have mountains of paperwork to attend to... It won't be like other Cypriot authorities with the Cypriot style manning ratios..



One to drink coffee, one to read the paper, one to smoke, one to make personal calls whilst trying manfully to ignore your pleading eyes... an art-form in itself!



The one who master drinking coffee, smoking and making a phone call simultaneously regards them-self as a consummate multi-tasking aficionado .. just none of the tasks they are paid to do...

Thanks Groucho - no of course the BHC won't be like other Cypriot authorities. More likely to be like

UK Government offices. So that is OK then.............................
