Due to the last power surge and power cut, my new DVD player does not work, my computer and monitor, my digital camera charger and ipod. Does anybody know how these items can be fixed, or where I could take them to for fixing ?????????

You could take your items to 'Tektan' for repair analysis - and whilst there, get some proper advice on the best voltage spike protection unit you can possibly afford.
