trying to download SKYPE

My computer was in for repair and unfortunately they reloaded internet explorer in Turkish, that also caused problems with downloading software as when clicking on the icon it came up in Turkish. I need to download SKYPE and it was doing the same thing, so I deleted the Turkish version of Internet Explorer and re loaded English (although I cant see any icon that says Internet Explorer which gets me on line.



Whilst downloading Skype I chose English but when it says RUN the next box comes up HELLO in Turkish and the only other choices are arabic. What on earth can I do.

i used the above link, again my internet explorer pops up with a block on SKYPE. I chose download anyway still when I say open it comes up wit a box Hello but in Turkish or some arabic.

this is driving me insane! I changed the language setting and removed Turkish under Internet Explorer as per the instructions above. When i tried to download Skype under the above link in message 5 it still blocked it. So I found Internet Explorer in Remove Program list and removed it - not just from the shortcut.



Then thought Id try using Firefox so download that, then went into Skype again using the exe file, it didnt block it but again HELLO and in Turkish and language options Arabic!



Looks like Ive got to take it to computer shop.



I have signed in to Skype (under Turkish reading) then it gave me the option to change to English, but cannot see how to dial up so I assume its not downloaded properly and it keeps saying download now!.

petsitter...just take it back to the shop, i'm sure they will be able to sort it out in a jiffy.....i hate it when things go wrong on the computer...always a good idea to let the experts sort it out.
