Hi Kentgirl , i see you have started 3 topics for your Avon advert, could you just use one please , seeing it has all to do with Avon , also it wouldn't be fair on other people who advertise , when they have been asked to use 1 post

many thanks , Simbas

Hi Simbas

I wasnt quite sure how to do it as they are all seperate topics - one relates to skin so soft and the others are special offers - and I just ran out of space!!

Please can you advise what the best thing is to do so that I dont break any rules.

Kind regards

Is there a 'ding dong, Avon calling' war breaking out between two conflicting agents for the same product lines on 2 different posts?

Must get my bikini line done before the summer season!

Hi Richard

That is not the case at all - we all sell the same Avon products just in different areas.

I'm hoping to get in touch with Joanne via revival of this string.

Joanne - I e-mailed as you suggested before 3rd June asking if I could order a couple of bottles of the Avon Skin so Soft from you but I haven't heard back. Are you still able to get them?

Dear everyone else - If Joanne doesn't answer, does anyone know the contact for the 'other' Avon lady?

Thanks.

The injection never did anything to help me.

Sienna, do sorry to hear about your experience with the mozzies - I can confirm they are all over the world and they always seem to be able to sniff me out!!

I'm going to use the Skin so Soft as a back up as I don't always wear my mozzie cream if I'm not going out (too much like hard work!)

Sienna, on your way out here, in the airport I would recommend you pick up a bottle of Mosquit-ex (it'll be found next to the Factor P20 sun cream). It's not cheap but it is dynamite and when you do wear it they shouldn't get you. Just one tip - don't wear nail varnish, it melts it!

Sorry to disappoint you but it doesnt work! I have still been bitten and know of others who also have been bitten. I would just recommend a very good mosi spray with Deet and cover yourself in it head to toe!

I have done alot of research about being bitten and its down too.

1. How prevalent they are in the area your in.

2. How much Co2 you give off.

Ie, If you are a smoker, they can detect you as soon as you walk in a room, Also if you perspire alot, your diet is a big thing. They detect you from the amount of Co2 you emit. Avon oil spray can work as its an oil and masks the Co2. Also the same for garlic, marmite, etc. When you sweat it comes out and masks the Co2.

But at the end of the day if you sweat then they will smell your Co2 a mile away.

Don't ware anything with perfume , and for the men not to use aftershave, this attracts them. I using Avon Skin So Soft, and its working for me so far.

Ask yourself why locals dont get bitten? Better still ask one yourself. They will say the same... Give it a year and you will not be bitten.....

Diet diet diet.... What you put in your body dictates what you put out when you sweat.

Locals dont sweat like we do.

Hi Debbie

Unfortunately I did not receive an email from you with your order, however Avon TRNC have been out of stock for a short while now.

I am hoping that I will receive a delivery shortly, and at the same reduced price of 12tl at which point I will contact you along with the other people that are waiting for their orders.

Sorry to all those that are still waiting but hopefully there will be a delivery soon, and I will call or email / text to see if you still require the skin so soft.

Debbie - how many bottles would you like

Kind regards

Jo

It is Vitamin B complex that you need.

Tootie

What a lot of rubbish you talk sometimes do you honestly believe if that was the answer, scientists wouldn't have worked this our years ago. They can find no correlation between skin types, blood groups, smokers etc. Millions and millions every year is spent on research as malaria still prevalent in a lot of countries.

It's just a case of once you find something that works for you stick with it! If skins so soft doesn't work try Jungle Formula which comes in a spray, lotion or roll on. But still take Vit. B complex every day.

Chris, From a quick Google search... http://www.medicine.org/profiles/blogs/dont-sweat-it-it-attracts

Mosquitoes locate bloodhosts by scent, sight and heat. From 100 feet away (30 meters) mosquitoes can smell your scent, especially the carbon dioxide (CO2) you exhale. Biting flies are even better; they can smell their prey from 300 feet (100 meters) away. Because CO2 is present in the atmosphere (plants take in CO2 and give off oxygen), mosquitoes respond to higher-than-normal concentrations, especially when the CO2 is mixed with host-odor. They follow your scent upwind, and can see you at a distance of about 30 feet (10 meters).
