| Does anyone know anything about "The Palms" restaurant that has just opened.
It`s opposite the Cabin and it used to be Haluk`s Cafe Sera. Any feedback please. |

| Thats interesting as when I visited last year it was shut and overgrown and rumour was that an unpleasant Cypriot (rod Stewart lookalike) was taking it over.
Also is the Bar by taxi rank ran by Aisha still going? |

| its been taken over by a lady called suzzie, she used to do gardens, pool and look after villas, have not been to her new place so don't know what it is like |

| Stephen48 - I think you`ll find you`ve got the wrong restaurant. Yes, Ilhan from the Cabin has taken over what used to be Cheers Bar belonging to Katie B some years ago, which is directly on the road. The one I am referring to is the one below that one that you have to go downhill to and was called Cafe Sera. Haluk used to have this, together with all his many creatures great and small. |

Cafe Sera used to be a great place but unfortunately due to the other interests that Haluk had meant that it was closed more times than it was open. Although not a pizza lover myself apparently the pizza's were pretty good.
We used to go there just for the ambience (and of course a beer or two) and a good chat with Haluk. Nothing ever stays the same but lets hope that whoever has taken it over will try and keep it much the same.

Aysha now has a small place back in Karavanseray. It is very near the fish restaurant her parents worked in. Think it is called Yelken. It is just below that. |
