Question about my dongle!!!!

Thinking about taking my laptop for a little trip to Bodrum..Please all you people who know about dongles, will my Vodafone Telsim thing work over there.My thoughts are it should...



Thought the laptop needed a rest after all the problems i had last year with it. ))

you will have wifi in/on the laptop so use that, will cost less infact free and generally will be better that your dongle

if it's a telsim dongle then it will work, as telsim pick up the vodafone signal from turkey anyway, but try and use the wifi, if your unable to pickup a signal then use the dongle.

Spider - Unless Francis has a broadband line, WiFi will be no good to you. WiFi is where you share someone else's broadband connection but without wires. You would have to know the password of the wireless connection you are attempting to use, otherwise it's a no-go. As I know Francis doesn't have broadband in Bodrum, you will have to rely on your dongle.

Hiya Spider, If you take your dongle out and press FN (bottom left of your key pad) you will see at the top of the screen some numbers, at the same time press F8, this is your wireless connection. You cannot use it in conjunction with your dongle as it would interfere with your connection.
