The Rachel Corrie has made their statement about Gaza, in a dignified way. Did not enfuse the situation but made their point and I feel made a much better statement than the previous debacle. The Israelis cannot claim any counter propaganda and the Aid will get through. Well done to all concerned.

Rachel Aliene Corrie (April 10, 1979 – March 16, 2003) was an American member of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM). She was crushed to death in the Gaza Strip by an Israel Defence Forces (IDF) bulldozer when she was kneeling in front of a local Palestinian's home, thus acting as a human shield, attempting to prevent IDF forces from demolishing the home. The name of the vessel won't be lost on the Israelis...

Grinderman Very good "thank you" there is always two sides to a story or event. I was brought up by Irish parents one north one south, have heard through childhood many opinions, but was taught from a early age that right was good. Many times i was confused what was right and sometimes still am, all I know is that killing people for the sake off a cause or a believe is not right. As has finnaly happend in Ireland the proof is that direct dilouge (?? spelling ) is not perfect but it sure makes a hell of a differece. No matter what has happened in the past it cannot be changed, talk to the Taliban & Hamas I know it sounds easy and is not possible in the current climate, but eventually this is the only way to achieve some sort of peace. Unless the worlds "ARMS DEALERS" don't want to loose trade!!!! TSC

My point about the name of the vessel was not to side with the Palestinians but to point out that trying to enter Israeli controlled waters with a vessel provocatively named is asking for unwanted attention... or maybe it's not unwanted?
