A strange subject for such a sunny day! Does anyone know where i can go without any fuss and paying out too much brass for a cortisone injection to my hand? I have them back in the UK but found that having been out here for longer than normal I need another one prior to leaving for the UK. Unfortunately so many doctors feel that they want to give you another diagnosis and they fiddle about for two appts until they realise that you do need one. Anywhere near to me in Girne? would be appreciated knuckle the size of a cricket ball and painful!

Other half has to have regular injections. She buys the drugs and syringes at Eczane and goes to the small hospital near HSBC. Nurse gives injection, no cost. If it just a one off and you do not want to buy a box of syringes they charge a couple of pennies at the hospital. Hospital - from football ground roundabout, go past HSBC on your left and take first turning on right. It is about 50 yards on right. Might be worth checking they can give the type of injection first.

Many thanks for your help - Cyprusishome - I think I know this little hospital it is next to a vet and round the back from the Passport restaurant. Will pop in and ask as I do not live that far away.
