can you help me ? my vine is covered in sticky black fly and already the leaves are turning brown and falling off. what do I need to save my lovely old vine and my grapes for this year???

You could try lightly soaped water and spray directly onto leaves. You could even remove the worst infested leaves. I am sure that there are chemicals around, but wouldn't recommend if you want to eat grapes afterwards. Beneficial insects would also be killed with the chemical method.

we have been using the soapy water method for years but unable to stop it this time, we have already pruned all the badly affected areas as well and it still keeps coming what next ??????

Add some oil(olive or sunflower) about a 15mls per litre to the soap solution.That got rid of mine.Soap solution alone didn't work on mine.
