Ignoring the total Dashak in the above message - as usual - prob the best place with the largest screen will be the Waterfront bar at Celebrity on the Lapta strip. mant indoor screens and a HUGE outdoor facility with bar.

Jetski

You really must be devoid of any sense of humour, but not surprisingly so, when not knowing your gender or whether married or not!

We are showing it on all inside and outside screens. We have a new mega screen outside in addition to the big screens inside and it all starts on Friday in conjunction with our new outside bar and eating area!

We will be showing all matches throughout the World Cup and are also hosting a World Cup Kick-off party on Fri eve with Karaoke and Disco.

For more info tel: 0533 835 6114

The Celebrity Billiards Club open-air summer venue overlooking the sea at the Waterfront in Lapta will also be showing all the World Cup matches.

We have installed what we think is the TRNC's largest outdoor screen - a massive 6ms - with new projector. Too, for daytime fixtures, we have taken delivery of two 52" LED LCD and one 42" LCD tvs. We will be showing all the games with official BBC and ITV commentaries with amplification upto 3.2kW as required.

Meanwhile the Celebrity Billiards Club indoors venue is open as usual and will be showing all the matches on its cinema and plasma and multiple other screens.

Plenty of parking is available in the Chateau Lambousa North Field overflow car-park and also adjacent to Jessics on the seafront.

For more information call 0533 862 4662.

Have to say - watched the warm up games at Celebrity open air venue.... was spectacular!!

Screen was absolutely enormous - didn't matter where you sat - you got a good view - and... the picture was spot on.

We'll definitely be there!

Come on England!!

The WORST bar to watch the World Cup will be the Aeria Bar where there is NO screen at all of any size.

Look forward to seeing those who just want to chill out.

JK's has to be the best place down Lapta /Karsiyaka direction - lots of regulars will be down there and Darren has done a great job with the new outside bar and terrace... expect a great atmosphere...

Nearer to town and it has to be The Castle - packed out for all football matches all year round, and the world cup will be no different with the big outside screen!!

COME ON ENGLAND!!!

Don't forget Pine Bay. Nice place with large screen and lots of smaller screens dotted around the bar and walls.

Msg 5 - More Dashak. What I said is truthful, concise and erudite. (apart from the single keyboard error) Your criticism of my contribution is to your usual loathsome standard. I maintain that the huge screen at Celebrity will be the best along the strip. Please go to bed.

Your idea of erudite is waiting twenty minutes for two sections of glue to come together!

Message 31 Ailletoo, while you and a few others are "zzzzzzzzzzzzzz" as you say, most of us will be out cheering our country on whoever it maybe. Dont be such a miserable ole git and get out and support your country, you'll have plenty of time for "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz" when your dead!

No offence intended.

Glad to see that the global economic crisis has not effected bars and football supporters, only wish I owned one and could serve the others, then I could end up a rich man in a very short time - even if I promised to give away a free pint everytime England scored, I doubt I would spend more that £50.00 before they got pushed out.

cyprusjoker, good to see you are supporting your country as much now as you did during the eurovison song contest - no offence meant.

I always thought that support to your country should not be limited to just a eleven guys trying to beat the crap out of another bunch of a different nationality, whilst not getting caught out by three blokes watching and thousands of others baying for blood. The end result being to kick a ball into a net - so they can win a symbol of great victory (like a cup) to hold onto for a few months.

Now that makes it seem well worth all the shouting that is going on - must watch a bit and see what it is about!
