The UK Government are introducing English exams for immigrants coming to live in the UK from outside the EU, applicants will have to have a "basic command of English" before being granted a visa.

If you start every sentence without a capital letter, don't know the difference between their and they're, haven't got a clue where to put an apostrophe, a comma or a full stop and end your sentences with lol... you're in!

Parky,

We have probably got a better command of the English language than some of the English I have met here in 6 years!

oh well, that'll get rid of all the dyslexic immigrants anyway. Because of the EU they'll probably have to be anti-discriminatory and apply the rule to existing citizens, even those who moved here in Roman times.

On a similar vein, why not apply it here too, ie Turkish?

Re : Msg.7,

It would cause mass exodus of the British population from the island.
