The SOS childrens village summer fayre will be held on the 25th June. The children have painted and decorated roof tiles and these will be on sale. They all varnished and strung with an "evil eye" bead ready for hanging. I do hope that everyone will make room for at least one on their wall!! The fair starts at 6pm.

At the village itself I believe (Lefkoşa), but I will have more info on Monday.

Well done Botanica on making this possible by donating all the materials, lets hope they all sell and make lots of money.

What a lovely idea to let the children participate themselves, and so generous to supply all the materials.

Well done and I hope SOS does really well out of it.

Thanks Lucylocket, I agree its nice for the children to have something "arty" to do for the fayre. The ages range from very young (4+) and up to teenagers, so the decorations range from those lovely stick men and animals to really beautiful flowers and abstracts etc. Some of them have even incorperated their favourite football clubs!! Nuket said they really had a good time with them. Everyone has a wall, and these tiles can be used inside or out so I do hope that Cyp44 members will buy at least one - its for such a good cause.

Thanks again

Arrrr sweet. I want to get one of the ones painted by the youngest children, stick men sound good.

Good luck. Cyp44 members won't let you down I'm sure.

Just a reminder to buy a wall tile and support this good cause.

The village is in Lefkoşa. Turn left at the main roundabout approaching Lefkoşa (Ercan road) carry on until you see the huge radio mast and the village is directly opposite, its a dual carriageway so you have to go a bit further and turn round at the next exit.

I hope I explained it ok, if anyone knows an easier way - please feel free to correct me!

Thanks
