Myself and my partner are coming across in september and will be looking to rent a vehicle for the long term. Trouble is my partner is only 22 and all of the company's we've looked at say they only supply vehicles to 25+.....

Does anybody know of any companys that will hire out to younger drivers??

Not very helpful I know, but I am sure it is standard practice around the world that you can only drive a rental car when you are 25.



This may not be of interest to you, but many psychologists who work in neurology support the idea that young people only develop full impulse control at 25.

We both currently rent vehicles in the UK, the problem seems to be insurance as opposed to the actual rental process here.

We are prepared to get seperate insurance if necessary.

Anybody??

Just had the same problem with my son 22, but arranged a jimny for him with sun car rental by sending licence details etc in advance, contact Umit.

Rental office is west of Girne along the road towards Lapta. I rented a car from her for 10 days recently and could not fault her service OR the car.
