Lewis Hamilton broke Red Bull's domination of qualifying this year to beat Red Bull's Mark Webber to pole position in a thrilling session in Canada.

The McLaren driver snatched pole from Webber with the very final lap of the day as Red Bull's run of seven consecutive poles this season came to an end.

Webber's team-mate Sebastian Vettel was third fastest ahead of the Ferrari of Fernando Alonso.

McLaren's Jenson Button was fifth from Force India's Vitantonio Liuzzi.

But where is God ????? He must soooooo far down the list .! I can't see that far !!

Re : Msg 1,

Yes, arrry. I enjoyed watching Little God (LH) pushing his car at the end of qualifying after which he was under investigation.

He is SO lucky that only 10,000 fine and and warning were announced today and he has not been demoted to the back of the pack for his theatrical performance.

Rigsby, thanks. I read now about team order scandal: in radio message it was coded as "You must save fuel".

They been told that next time they will be fined for such blatant team orders.

Yes, God has given very positive interview in Canada. BTW he is ADORED there. He said that Canada is one of the highlight of the season for him.

Clarissa,I too was hoping the Mcpooh chap would be punished for showing off pushing his car.Did you see the interview with the team bosses when asked about team orders? They should take up politics!! I have bet on Mark Webber this week.My son is still adamant that i will not be allowed to wear my new God baseball cap, what he does not know is that it has not been delivered yet.Could be a cheap Silverstone ticket on offer.

Rigsby, where is our friend m x 6?

It is ABSOLUTE shame and disgrace if he is banned!

At least he supported Alonso with me...

And now no one does.

Re : Msg 5,

Ha-ha, Rigsby. You can give your son THAT HELMET on loan. With all the diamonds sparkling he won't notice your silver cap and the day will be saved!

Charlie Whiting said that his patience is wearing very thin with McP team, so is FIA's. The heads will roll next time.

Re : Msg 11,

And I might start bidding for those replica ear studs. Might go up in price by the end of the season. So don't sell The Helmet yet. BTW I renamed him from Little God into Playboy. I've been waiting for his tires to give up on the last lap but to no avail. Perhaps JB can teach him how to drive properly?

And Alonso slipped into 4th position.

Won't mention God - too depressing...
