Just had a lovely Sunday Lunch at the China Garden in Catalkoy. We fancied something "traditional" and enjoyed 2 courses for 17tl and our favourite wine at 25tl, it did not break the bank. Choice of 3 starters and several main courses, and we opted for Tomato Soup, Garlic Mushrooms, then Roast Beef and Roast Lamb with all the trimmings, the meat was beautifully tender and we were pleasantly full at the end of the 2 courses (the choice is starter and main, or main and dessert), of course we could have chosen from the full menu as well, but we were glad to choose the traditinal Sunday Lunch for a change. Set in lovely gardens, the China Garden is situated just off the main coast road at Catalkoy (opposite Lamar). We have enjoyed evening Chinese meals, but this was a joy. Serving Sunday lunch 12-3.30pm we had a leisurely lunch at 1pm, they stay open as long as someone is dining/drinking. Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed.

And Tariq is the perfect host whenever you drop in be it for lunch, drinks or dinner.
