We are holidaying in July in Dogankoy just outside Kyrenia. We will be flying into Larnaca and renting a car. We have found out that we need to get some insurance cover at the border crossing but will this be open at 2am or 3am on a Monday Morning.

Yes 24hrs. I have crossed at strange times always someone there.

You can only get insurance which is 3rd party only ,for periods of either 3 days min, or 30 days its £20 + Cyprus pounds for 30 days. There is no in between EG. 7 or 14 days.
