Will I be allowed back in the country

I have applied for my residency (which runs out on 30th June) at Girne police station on Fri last week, I need to go to the Uk asap, which means I wont have new residency stamp in passport. Does anyone know if they will let me back in the country without this when I return at the end of August.

Go to immigration in Lefkosa and explain.



Otherwise you may have an expensive problem.

I did the same 4 years ago explained to customs at Ercan that residency was being processed and had no problems.

Go to the police station immigration and they will get you a letter to show at Ercan. Did this a couple of years back, Problem yok!

I left the country twice last year whilst awaiting my new residency stamp. I went to the police station and they told me not to worry. They did not give me a letter. I had no problems whatsoever and each time I returned I got a 90 day visa.
