I have two plum trees laden with fruit. Don't have a head for heights & don't particularly like plums - not a jam maker either!

Most are ready now!

If anyone fancies an hour or so up a ladder you are welcome to all you can pick - I will provide ladders & plastic bags!

"Get your gums around my plums" could be a good advertising slogan

OK, does anyone know how to write, in Turkish,

"come & pick your own free plums" so I can hang a sign on the gate?

Thanks message 8

I've actually gone with : 'Gelin ve ucretsiz erik almak' (come and free plums pick)

Have put notice on gate - if I've got it hopelessly wrong at least I'll give the locals a laugh!

I also have a plum tree in Karmi which is overloaded at the moment. If anyone is passing, please feel free to come and pick the plums as they are splatting all over the ground and making a horrible mess! They are Victoria plums and apparently delicious!!

Maggie

Along near the big Gun monument on the forestry land there are some donkeys being cared for after their owner died, the people looking after them are in desperate need of fruit, vegetables, anything along those lines to feed these animals, perhaps you could gather some of your plums and drop them off there. In fact if anyone who can help in this way it would be a great help.
