| can anyone help, tryed to load 3 g from Lemar when I was out last and would not load, taken the netbook to a PC doctor and was told that it would not load because it did not have windowns and was run on something called lenux ( dont know if that is spelt correctly. Does anyone know if I can get internet connection in TRNC with this system, its all double dutch to me. |

Half way down the page is the info you want 'Getting Configured'
You don't say which 3g you have (telsim or turkcell), but best thing is to save this to your computer and then take your 3g dongle and netbook into the official Telsim/Turkcell shop (going out of Girne passed Colony hotel take right at Lefkosa roundabout towrds Lapta - the two shops are near Mr Pound) They will help you to configure your netbook. |

| thank you, it is still all double dutch me being a thicko .I havent bought a dongle yet as it would not work. so which one should I buy and can I get one in england |

| Hi Ginty,
You can purchase an 'unlocked' dongle i.e. one that can take any data 3g sim card and then buy the turkcell/telsim 3g sim card in TRNC. I understand the O2 dongle is unlocked, but I'm sure someone on this message board will tell you. Alternatively you can buy the dongle and sim card from Turkcell/telsim and ask them to configure your netbook when you are out there. |
