bus to Lefkosa where do I pick it up from???

Hi

I am trying an experiment on Friday and would like to take the bus to Lefkosa to the Buyuk Hun can some one tell me where I pick the bus up from???? I live in Karaoglanoglu

has any one tried it and know of cost

Go into Kyrenia and the Lefkosa Dolmus goes from opposite the Post Office. (where the other dolmus all wait) I think it costs 7TL each way but not 100% certain!

I think it is less than 7TL return, but have not used it since February.

It's a great run. I much prefer catching the dolmus than driving and having to mess about with parking like we had to last time. Get off at the Kyrenia Gate. Do you know where the Buyuk Hun is? If not, pick up a map in the Tourist Office which is inside the Kyrenia Gate building.

I went yesterday,it's 3.5tl single or 6 return,the problem with a return is you have to get the same bus company on the return journey, a single means you can hop on any bus returning to Girne.

Just for the record: the place in walled North Nicosia (Lefkoşa) is called in Turkish the Büyük Han (English: Great Inn). It was built by the conquering Ottoman Turks (1572) on most probably a Frankish (Lusignan) foundation. In many places one can see materials form the Lusignan era. Omg, I'm probably pedantic again...

6 lira return and you can get on any bus going back to Girne.I go at least 2-3 times a month and always get on the first bus that comes along.You buy the return ticket from the man opp the post office in Girne.A ticket collector gets on at the top of the Girne - lefkosa road to check yr tickets or take yr fare. Same on the way back

thanks every one ,sounds the better option than driving. I have been to Buyuk hun before but taking a friend who hasnt.
