I just want to say a big thank you to the very kind couple who rescued my daughter and her friend today they got lost and were given drinks and sun cream and then driven to the Sempati hotel where they were picked up I don't know your names but I hope you read this, a BIG BIG thank you.

That's the spirit... how great that such helping hands are at large... well done those people. I hope that any one of us would do likewise.



In fact I'm going to make it my business to bundle anyone walking along in the full heat of the day scarlet with sunburn and inappropriately dressed (no shirt, no hat just shorts and flip-flops) into my motor and drag them to the Sempati for cold drinks....



I reckon my car will be overflowing before I hit Karakum but hey-ho...

What is even nicer is, that as a rule, you could feel confident getting in a strangers car, unless they looked really dodgy like.......................answers please.
