Ihave been a client of Turk Bank for 20 years and I was dissapointed when I had to complain continuously for 6 months becaiue they failed to pay on time my standing orders and my mobile phone was cut off every month !! What a dag !! I had to ring them up and remind them to pay it each month and they assured me that it wouldnt happen again ach tim, my water bill wasnt paid for months either and it accumilated quite a bit of interest. I today went in to close the accounts whereupon the manager came over to ask if he could help, after voicing my complaints he said " I am not listening to you" which was kind of strange but there u go !!

the only bank you can pay your water bills with is coop bank dont ask why i dont know so to pay your water bills go to coop bank it is not the same as england here and most standing orders have to be 7000tl unless you and the reciever is the same bank it is a night mare here doing things on standing orders i cant even pay my tax bill on standing orders or direct debit so your bank will have trouble as they have to take the money to the receiving bank

That's strange gates,as my neighbour has his bills paid by the bank, and I'm almost sure he banks with

It might depend which Municipality supplies your water, and who they bank with!

Or there again, perhaps not

The only reason I can think of for anyone using Turkbank is that they dont realise that most of the others are much better.

Garanti, Iktisat and Creditwest all value their customers and treat them properly.

Turkbank are hopeless in every way and have the worst interest rates.
