Oh happy feet, you have hit the spot man. I had many of the records that you have listed above. I had over a thousand jazz funk lp's

I set up a jazz club with some friends in London called 'Jazz junction'. We worked with Paul Murphy and the blues and soul magazine. We even turned down Giles petrson who wanted to join our crew. That was such a big mistake, but hey you live and learn.

No I don't know Clive R. I never used to buy Black Echoes. I don't know why. I think it had too much of a reggae slant for me.

Saturday morning i would spend listening to Radio London with Robbie Vincent. I would then go to Bluebird records in Edgware road and then on to Groove records in Soho. Sunday would be spent listening to Radio Invicta, hopeing they wouldn't get raided.

You have listed some legendary names Happy Feet.

Do you ever go to the Jazz cafe in Camden?

Where are you based in London? Have you bought in NC?

I have heard of the frontliners. I would probably recognise their faces.

Yeah, I used to go to City records. They were perfect for you in Holborn. Funny enough some of the best records I picked up was in a little shop in Brussels. They shipped over lots of stuff that I couldn't get in the UK.

'Somebody help me out' - what a great band 'beggar and co'

Did you ever go to Horseshoe in Totenham court Road?

You are going to have a great holiday. North Cyprus is a fantastic place. To be honest though i am not sure if you are going to find some Jazz. I haven't found any yet, but hey, you never know.

Hi Mark,

we went to a Brussels weekender soul gig last year, I believe there is one also this year in August, yes I found a few record shops there quite cheap, there is a good Soul Weekender in Tuscany.

Do you like Jazz Invaders and NICOLA CONTE I saw him at the Jazz Cafe last year.

Hi Wayne

Unfortunately I don't listen to the music like I used to. I buy the odd record but i am really out of touch with the modern scene. We should meet in London sometime and you can bring me up to date.
