Creche - Playgroups - do they have any here?

A friend is looking for a creche and/or playgroup for her daughter but no one seems to know if they have any in TRNC..

Hi,

If your friend can commute to Nicosia there will be a playgroup up and running in English with a native speaker once a week.

It wıll be gymboree type with a circle time, art activites, songs, games,stories, and lots of lovely toys to play with. There might also be a nice outside area depending on the garden. Its only 20 mins from central Nicosia.

My 10 month old will also be attending (He will be 13 months in September)

I think you should try calling some pre schools that etach in English and ask them. I know Miss Judy's is taking children from the age of 2

Yes there are loads....theres one called Happy Land, they have 2 branchs...one near the Ozel Hastane and the other in Patara Sitesi in Girne. There are also other ones - not too sure of the name but there is a good one on Catalkoy main road going towards Supreme supermarket. Theres another good one called Colour Land near Lapta.

Also a couple in Lapta if you turn left coming from Girne just at The Hut there are 2 there.

There is another in Catalkoy village, take the second turn to Catalkoy if you are driving away from Kyrenia and follow the road up about 700 metres to the top of the hill and it is on the right.

I don't remember the name and am afraid I don't have any details except to say a friend has given it very good reviews.

If anyone would be kind enough to give the details it would be much appreciated because my wife is considering putting our youngster there.

Before somebody smart alec's a comment about calling my friend, that isn't possible or I would have allready done it and besides this way the information gets shared.
