Just had a message from my sister-in-law saying she is going to Belek in Turkey on holiday and they are thinking of taking a boat trip over to see us.

Anyone know where they can get ferry from, how long and approx cost.

Thanks in advance.

Chris - They need to travel down the coast to Mersin, I am sorry from that point I don't have the knowledge.

Far easier (closer to Belek too) and not too expensive would be a flight from Antalya ot Ercan and back which we can arrange for your family. If that is what she wants to do get her to give me a call.

She can get a bus to Alanya where a ferry sails to Girne on Monday and Thursday, at 11:00. Crossing takes 4 1/2 hours as they use the slow passenger ferry on this route. Ferry back to Alanya is on a Sunday and a Wednesday. cost is 340 TL for 2 tickets including port taxes and Turkish visa charges. The company details are Fergun Denizcilik Ltd Tel Girne office 0392 815 1770
