can any one give me the phone number or the details of where his garage is . I have heard he is the best around, think he is the local muhtar for Zetinlik or his father is.

I think you are referring to our Mukhtar - he has a garage just inside the Karaolanoglu industrial estate. We just got our car serviced at his garage - very conscientious work, thoroughly done at reasonable charge.



Just make sure you put some [temporary] covering on your floor mats! I didn't, and happened to be there when one of his mechanics, who had just been standing in a puddle of oily crud, jumped into the driver's seat.

I pointed the mess out to the Mukhtar, who apologised profusely and took out the floor carpet and pressure washed it clean with detergent and hung it up to dry - very decent of him - many would have just given you the 'Cyprus Shrug'!



Right - directions! --------- Coming from Girne > 'Ship Inn' on your left > Lemar on your left > 2nd turning on your left - turn in to the industrial estate > first turning on your right and you'll see his garage. He speaks reasonable English and knows quite a lot of automotive 'techno-speak'!

sorry to be a pain is the Mukhtar name Esat ? or is that his son ,do you mean the second turning after Lemar does the garage have a name?? I asked at Dogpen and no one had ever heard of him.

It's the turning [on the left], after Lemar, to the big industrial estate - there only is one!



Can't say if his name is Esat - it could well be the son - I'll ask my Turkish friend when I see him later.

I think I know the garage your looking for, Its nearly opposite the cod babba between the turning for the indust estate and GAU.
