Nearest border crossing is Pyla. It would be around £50 in a taxi from Larnaca to Esentepe so wouldn't expect to pay more than £25 to the crossing point.

If you need a taxi just from Napa to the border it will cost €25 to €30 to Famagusta Crossing (nearest crossing point to Napa). Call Markos the taxi driver on 00357 996 16098. Ask him if he found my Nokia phone?

Famagusta might be the nearest to Ayia Napa but Pyla is much more convenient for Esentepe... The best thing to do is to arrange a taxi from Esentepe to go to Ayia Napa and collect your guests and bring them all the way... much more civilised than try to meet at the border... in this heat. There is a taxi driver in Esentepe who will provide this service at very reasonable rates I'm told...

Actually the nearest and best for Esentepe is Beyarmudu/Pergamos.

Redwine; Pyla is the mixed village run by the UN. After Pyla you get to Beyarmudu/Pergamos which is the Turkish village actually on the border with a Turkish checkpoint. Dummy huh? As for Famusta (Famagusta) the crossing is Black Knight which is fine for Bogaz but not as convenient as Beyarmudu/Pergamos for Esentepe.

RedWhine; Keep showing your ignorance, this is a public forum and you're looking dafter with each posting. And it's Beyermudu not Beyarudu. Can dyslexia be treated? Apologies AJ.

Jesus wept! The bloke just wanted to know how to get his mates over via the nearest crossing to Napa, not to see who know Cyprus the best! Everyone award yourself 10 points and lets close this thread as its dealt with.

Donty; Don't tell me tell the whiner. He's the one getting the facts wrong and then resorting to insults! Ten points please.
