Anyone who did not go to Girne yesterday missed a real treat.



This was our second year watching it from near the Attaturk memorial, previously watched it from a distance.



We were there to start with to "listen" to the speeches and then see the parade which we always enjoy.



Then the main event and watching on the seafront when they do the one to one fly past is awesome. We could almost shake hands with the pilots as they went past.



I know everyone around us was applauding and cheering. Although the heart is a big feature of most aero displays and always gets a big cheer.



This time for me was when one jet came from each side of the harbour in a dive, I was sure the mast on one of the yachts was a goner, They then rolled past each other and continued to the top of a steep dive doing barrell rolls all the way up. Cannot imagine the stress on the pilots on that manouvere.



Cannot think of enough superlatives for this show - well done the Turkish Airforce and thank you.

Totally agree cyprus - fantastic display, heartstopping at times, skin tinglingly awesome!



Did anyone get any decent photos????
