builders and kibtec does it cost?

does anyone know if it costs the builder to lodge the file in preperation of getting them on the electric.?

I ask because a friend has been waiting for a long time for the site file to go in and the builder has run out of money.

He would be happy to pay himself if that was the case so he can get on his own juice

yes it cost when signed off the plan .



as i was aware a couple of years ago ,the site has to be signed off as to the plan and the fees paid by builder before you get individual meters .



certainly was in our case as i went 2 weeks before builder had done so and could not make application for my meter until he had settled his business with them first .
