Hi Sazna I have found the paraband collars to be extremely effective with regards dogs,I am sure they will be just as effective with regards cats.My dogs have never had fleas or ticks(luckily) since we have lived here.I purchased the collars from Firdev the vet, cost was 30tl each and they last 3 months,I am not sure if the cat collars are same price but I can recommend them.

Yes, I'm with frontline but I buy from The States via Ebay as its much cheaper there. BTW its exactly the same as the frontline for dogs (usually cheaper for some reason).

I hate chemicals. I use Diatomaceous earth commonly known as DE. I use it on my dog and chickens. I have no fleas or red spider mite problems. My chickens and their hut are done once per week and dog as required. It also safely dealt with an ant problem I had in my house. My UK supplier is http://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk I bought the 1kg tub + the smaller refillable puffer bottle last summer. It lasts ages. Wikipedia states-- a naturally occurring, soft, siliceous sedimentary rock that is easily crumbled into a fine white to off-white powder. Food grade diatomaceous earth is OMRI (Organic Material Review Institute) listed, does not poison our pets, and simply dehydrates fleas and ticks that come in contact with it within 72 hours. Food grade diatomaceous earth can be sprinkled in your home carpeting, on dogs, cats,Basically it dries out the External Skeletons of insects etc
